2 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve Jointrise. Specifically, we use your information to:

- Process sponsorship applications and match applicants with sponsors

- Process payments and issue receipts via Paystack
- Add confirmed sponsors to our public Sponsor Wall (with your consent)
- Track referral commissions and process affiliate payments

- Sponsor Wall: If you choose to sponsor youths, your name may appear publicly on our Sponsor Wall. You may opt to appear as "Anonymous" during the sponsorship process.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order or government authority in Nigeria.
- KOJEKON Ecosystem: Your information may be shared between Jointrise and the Resilience platform (resilience.kojekon.com), both operated by KOJEKON, for the purposes of sponsorship tracking and youth empowerment projects.
4 Payment Information
All payments on Jointrise are processed securely through Paystack, a licensed payment processor. We do not store your card details, bank account numbers or any sensitive financial information on our servers.
- Enrolment fee: ₦50,000 (one-time, lifetime access)
- Sponsorship payments: ₦50,000 per youth sponsored
- Affiliate commissions: processed through verified bank accounts
By making a payment, you also agree to Paystack's Privacy Policy.
5 Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase and Netlify. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
- All data transmissions are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Database access is restricted to authorised personnel only
- We conduct regular reviews of our data collection and storage practices
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
